Nashik. During the covid period, students' focus was diverted from their studies, which had a direct impact on the subsequent exams. Especially pharmacy and engineering colleges had very low results two years ago. As these students are not taught the relevant subjects in the colleges, the failed subjects are still difficult for them. In this background, 'Carry on' discount has been given to the students of Pharmacy course. MLA Prof. demand that the same should be given to engineering students. Devyani Farande approached Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil. Responding positively to this demand, Chandrakant Patil assured that this issue will be resolved soon.

In a statement to Chandrakant Patil, the Pharmacy Council of India has approved direct admission to the next course by giving the benefit of 'carry on' to students who have failed the first year of Diploma in Pharmacy. The duration was short. Besides, there is a backlog of many students. Those students regular courses in second years
Attended and completed. So the second year was easy for those students. However, the first year backlog is still pending. Unfilled students face difficulties in getting admission for the third year course. As a result, many students suffer from depression due to additional stress.
On the other hand, autonomous colleges have admitted students with backlog in first year in third year. It is expected that the same justice should be given to the polytechnics and engineering colleges affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education. In this regard, the principals of various colleges in the state have given education to the students
A representation has been submitted to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education to avoid losses. However, no circular has been issued by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in this regard yet. So concerned students of Carrion
MLA Farande demanded from Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil that the failed students in the first year of engineering should also get the benefit of Carrion for this year. Chandrakant Patil assured that this decision will be considered positively to avoid educational loss of the students and relief will be given to the concerned students soon.
Meanwhile, hundreds of students will be benefited if the first year failed students also get the option of Carreon for this year.
