In the second semester of the MSBTE diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (EJ), students will face MSBTE theory exams, each subject carrying 70 marks. The subjects include Applied Mathematics, Basic Electronics, Elements of Electrical Engineering, and Electronic Material & Components. The focus is on a practical-oriented study approach.

During this semester, students pursuing E&TC Engineering will study Electronics & Telecommunication-related subjects, with Applied Mathematics providing foundational knowledge crucial for E&TC engineering studies.

The K Scheme Curriculum by MSBTE simplifies the passing criteria to a minimum score of 40 out of 100. The evaluation system utilizes a 30-70 mark structure, involving formative (FA-TH) and summative (SA-TH) assessments. Formative assessments represent the average of two 30-mark class tests conducted during the semester, while summative assessments include the 70-mark theory paper administered by MSBTE at the semester's end.

The revised 'K' Scheme Curriculum for the Diploma, announced officially in November 2023, sets the stage for an enriched learning experience. The draft curriculum up to the sixth semester is available, allowing students to plan their academic journey. Starting from the second year, students will delve into more technical subjects, enhancing their understanding of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
