Computer Engineering K Scheme Syllabus of Second Semester
Computer Engineering Second Semester Msbte K Scheme Syllabus |
In the second semester of their Computer Engineering course, students will have exams in two subjects – Applied Mathematics and Programming in C, each worth 70 marks. There's also an online test for Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 70 marks. The teaching approach focuses more on practical learning.
The curriculum makes it easier to pass. You need at least 40 out of 100 marks. The evaluation system uses a 30-70 mark split, combining class tests (FA-TH) and a final theory paper (SA-TH). Class tests are two 30-mark tests during the semester, and the final theory paper is a 70-mark test by MSBTE at the end of the semester.
MSBTE recently updated the curriculum, called the 'K' Scheme, for the 2023–24 academic year. The second semester curriculum was announced in November 2023. The draft curriculum for up to the sixth semester is out, and the syllabus for all second semesters is now available. In the second year, students will study more technical subjects like Programming in C, Web Page Designing, and Linux Programming, along with Applied Mathematics and Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering to build a solid foundation for computer engineering studies.
In the second semester of the Computer Engineering (CO) diploma, you will typically study the following subjects:
In the second semester of the Computer Engineering diploma (CO), you'll be studying the following theory exam subjects:
